Project reference 43013

Cutting High Spot — Laser Control Visual

Describe the application, material route, growing or working area and proposed rental period. A listed scenario is not a claim that a Dugong rental unit or local service is available.

This reference assembles relevant extracts from the guide library. It is general project planning, not a local project report, verified specification or translated technical publication.

Dugong Working Weight & Cutting Action

Dugong working weight should be considered in relation to cutting depth, traction and the complete tractor combination. A carried load changes transport and hitch demands as well as the cutting operation.

Before moving material

Confirm current machine weight, permissible loading and tractor limits.

Receiving operation and checks

Recheck handling and receiving-surface condition as loads change. Record the actual configuration used for operating observations.

Weight and blade-pressure estimates are not a substitute for a compatibility assessment.

Dugong + Laser Grading

Using Dugong with laser grading requires a compatible receiver installation, stable reference and understood cutting-edge offset. The laser indicates where the surface belongs; the machine moves the material.

Before moving material

Confirm the proposed control equipment with the suppliers.

Receiving operation and checks

Verify the formed surface independently. Recheck offsets after geometry changes or adjustments.

No blanket automatic-control compatibility or tolerance is promised.

High Spots

A high spot is meaningful only relative to the intended surface. It may obstruct runoff, limit cultivation depth or sit above a construction formation. Cutting it without knowing the target can remove useful soil unnecessarily.

Before moving material

Measure the feature against surrounding levels and the agreed datum.

Receiving operation and checks

Recheck the corrected level and restore the appropriate surface layer. Check whether the high spot was a local deposit or part of the intended contour.

A visible mound is not automatically a defect.

Record the job inputs

Use this checklist to turn the scenario into a specific brief. Retain the design revision and agree who accepts each completed layer.

Checklist ticks apply only while this page is open. Include the completed brief in your project records.
